Rick Moses is a dually-licensed therapist specializing in addiction, co-occurring disorders, and various mental health challenges, including anxiety and panic disorders, depression, life transitions, and personal growth and self-esteem. After a long career in sales, Rick found his true calling in therapy, driven by his experience working with marginalized populations in soup kitchens, food pantries, and addiction treatment outreach. Reinventing himself at the age of 45, Rick transitioned into social work, combining his life experiences with a deep empathy for others.
Rick’s approach to therapy is rooted in a belief that everyone possesses the ability to create positive change in their lives. His therapeutic toolkit includes a range of approaches, such as Client-centered Therapy, Eclectic/Integrative Therapy, Faith-Based Therapies, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Strength-Based Therapy, allowing him to tailor his methods to meet the unique needs of each client.
As a lifelong learner, Rick remains committed to refining his skills by attending trainings and webinars that focus on best practices and emerging techniques in psychotherapy. He is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), ensuring that his practice stays at the forefront of the evolving mental health landscape.
Rick is passionate about the growing awareness of substance use/mental health issues and the push to increase access to treatment, whether in-person or remotely. His goal is to work collaboratively with clients, guiding them through the obstacles that prevent them from living their best lives and helping them tap into their inner strengths to achieve personal growth.
