Monica Wheeler

Monica Wheeler is an Admissions Coordinator at Valley Spring Recovery Center, where she has spent 6 years helping individuals of every age take the first step toward mental health and addiction treatment. Monica believes that anyone can change their life around at any point, and she brings that conviction into every admissions conversation. Drawing on her own recovery experience, Monica connects with prospective clients on a personal level, understanding firsthand where they're coming from and what it takes to reach out for help. Her motivation comes from remembering how much getting sober changed her own life, and from a deep commitment to walking alongside every patient, every step of the way. Outside of work, Monica recharges by spending time at home with her family, whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying a movie night — activities that help her stay grounded and ready to support the next person who calls.
