Phase 1
The alumni journey begins with reconnecting to the Valley Spring community and peers who shared the treatment experience. Valley Spring Recovery Center helps identify current recovery strengths and areas where ongoing peer support would benefit long-term maintenance.
Phase 2
Clients engage with monthly meetings, educational workshops, and peer mentorship opportunities that strengthen recovery while helping current clients. Alumni-led programming lets clients share professional skills and life experience while learning from peers who have navigated similar challenges.
Phase 3
The client's role evolves from participant to leader as clients take on workshop facilitation, peer mentoring, and community service coordination responsibilities. Clients develop leadership skills while strengthening recovery through service to others.
Phase 4
Valley Spring Recovery Center supports ongoing connection to the alumni network through continued meeting participation, social events, and peer relationships that last for years. The alumni community becomes the extended recovery family, providing accountability, celebration, and support through all of life's challenges.
