When preparing for your stay at Valley Spring Recovery Center, it is essential to pack appropriately to ensure your comfort and compliance with our facility guidelines. Below is a comprehensive list of items you should bring, along with items that are restricted.

Clothing

• Casual Pants: Full-length casual pants such as jeans, khakis, cargo pants, and sweatpants.
• Shirts: T-shirts, polos, button-down shirts, sweaters, hoodies, and cardigans. Tank tops, spaghetti straps, and strapless shirts must be worn under other shirts.
• Exercise Clothing: Knee-length shorts, warm-up suits, sweatshirts, and sweatpants.
• Seasonal Outerwear: Jackets or other weather-appropriate outerwear.
• Swim Attire:
  • Male: Swim trunks of mid-thigh length or longer, with a liner.
  • Female: One-piece bathing suit that is fully intact and covering.
  • Flip flops and/or sandals (permitted only during designated times).
• Pajamas and Robe: For comfort during your stay.
• Socks and Undergarments: Sufficient for your stay.
• Footwear: Comfortable, practical, rubber-soled shoes are recommended. Sneakers are ideal for recreation and exercise activities. High heels are not recommended.

Note: Limit luggage to one carry-on suitcase and an overnight bag. Bring five to seven days’ worth of casual clothing. Laundering services are provided free of charge, and dry-cleaning services are available upon request for an additional charge. All clothing must fit appropriately. • Provocative Dress Attire: Clothing that draws undue, negative attention.
• Clothing with Non-Recovery-Oriented Sayings: Titles or symbols (e.g., beer/alcohol brands, marijuana plants, etc.).
