Zach Puzo

Zach Puzo has been an addiction counselor since 2016, with a deep commitment to providing effective therapy for individuals seeking recovery from addiction. After earning his associate’s degree in Human Services from Passaic County Community College, he is now completing his Master’s in Social Work at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Since joining Valley Spring Recovery Center in 2021 as one of its first employees, Zach has become an integral part of the clinical team.

In his role as an addiction counselor, Zach specializes in guiding patients through the challenges of recovery, offering compassionate support and practical strategies to help them navigate their journey. He is particularly passionate about working with families, helping to mend fractured relationships and foster healing. Beyond his counseling duties, he also manages various case management tasks, including assisting with FMLA, preparing attorney letters, aiding in job searches, and liaising with employers to support his patients’ recovery efforts.

Known for his open-door policy, Zach ensures that patients always feel welcome to discuss any challenges they may be facing. He also maintains strong connections with alumni, regularly checking in to offer continued support and encouragement as they progress in their recovery.
