Samantha Miller

Hello, My Name is Samantha Miller. I just became a first-time mom. I enjoy so many things outside of work. such as going fishing with my husband and enjoying car shows. I also love watching movies and taking naps. I also belong to a book club we meet once a month, it’s nice to look forward to something. My life is amazing, and I love that my job adds to it. I’ve been working here for about two years, and I love my job and working with my staff members. We all fit like a perfect puzzle. I have learned so much in this field that it has made me grow as a person. I went to school for one thing and found myself somewhere else. I interned at Straight and Narrow a detox facility. After being there I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. I loved being able to help and watch the clients grow, it’s truly a beautiful thing. I feel like I don’t just help the clients, but I also help the staff. I’m Wonder Woman, I put out fires and help anywhere that is needed on a day-to-day basis as I keep everything in line and where it needs to be. I hope to continue to grow and learn over the years to come.

I enjoy reading. I’m even in a book club. I love fishing I enjoy thrift shopping I work in this field because I grew up in a household with addiction, and I couldn’t help my few loved ones. So being here I can help anyone that walks through the door.

Why Do You Do What You Do For Work?

I enjoy seeing when they first come in and when they leave how much they change and how happy they are. This brings me so much joy and I love to say that this is my job and I enjoy telling people what I do for a living.
