Zach Puzo

Zach Puzo has been an addiction counselor since 2016, deeply committed to providing effective therapy for individuals seeking recovery from addiction. After earning his associate degree in Human Services from Passaic County Community College, Zach joined Valley Spring Recovery Center in 2021 as one of its first employees. Since then, he has become an integral part of the clinical team.

In his role as an addiction counselor, Zach specializes in guiding patients through the challenges of recovery, offering compassionate support and practical strategies to help them succeed. He is particularly passionate about working with families, helping to repair fractured relationships and foster healing. Beyond counseling, Zach manages a variety of case management responsibilities, including assisting with FMLA, preparing attorney letters, supporting job searches, and collaborating with employers to ensure patients receive the support they need during recovery.

Known for his open-door policy, Zach creates a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing any challenges they face. He also maintains strong connections with alumni, regularly checking in to provide continued support and encouragement as they progress in their recovery journey.
